      Cyanide, arsenic and plutonium are also natural. Are you going to consume plenty of those too? The body of evidence supporting a causal role of LDL and atherosclerosis consists of over 200 prospective cohort studies, over 2 million participants, 20 million person years of follow up, over 150,000 cardiovascular disease events. We've got genetic studies based on genetic predisposition to either higher or lower LDL cholesterol, and we've got all kinds of mechanistic and experimental evidence. From the cardiovascular side, the lipid hypothesis is as scientifically coherent and persuasive a body of evidence in favor of a causal role for LDL as you can get. This consensus statement cites 343 studies proving the above: academic.oup.com/eurheartj/advance-article/doi/10.1093/eurheartj/ehz962/5735221 Or you can keep going with your unscientific inference, but those emojis are laughing at YOU, if so.

    i mean this isn’t a stance on whether we are meant to eat meat though. If you look at animal behavior some animals scavenge for food and some animals hunt. I would say we fall more into the hunting then the scavenging territory. So this is like saying to a vulture, go out and kill that deer that you found on the side of the road if you are really a meat eater. it just doesn’t fit with biology.

Animals are animals and human beings are human beings. Human beings are omnivores just like all the other omnivore species on the planet. My god real human food is right in our faces, it's on the trees in bright fruitful smelling colours just waiting to attract us to eat it! You don't need a cooker, tools, no prep needeed and it doesn't run away. It's whole, ripe, raw fresh food designed for us. It even saturates our need for water, it conatins pure uncontaminated water. Fruit is the highest source of vitamins and second highest source of minerals. Soft leafy greens are the highest source of minerals and 2nd highest source of vitamins. It's pure health, you get your energy needs met with sugar without all the greasy artery blocking fat. The problem is humans moved away from their own food source to colder climates in the northern hemispheres where fruit doesn't grow year round unlike in Africa where there are no seasons. Our skin got light and we got weaker. We need the sun for vitamin D, without clothes and gas bills for our houses we would freeze to death, we have to import fruit and we slaughter the animals who can survive in the winter to eat their second hand nutrients they got from plants but our bodies aren't designed to eat animals so it causes us all sorts of diseases. If you are vegan and educated about fruit and health then travelling from northern europe/uk to warmer climates like Spain and South Africa you get exposed to REAL fruit, food that can't be imported to UK because it would rot in transit. UK supermarkets are full of crap unripe unfit for health because it's picked too early, not ripe, the riper the fruit the more sugar the more nutrients except for fruit which can ripen off the tree such as bananas, avocado, mango etc and also watermelons can be stored with a good self life but supermarkets do not purchase in quality melons you have to find them in the Turkish shops around town, usually in huge wooden crates outside for 99p a kilo. So the next best thing living in EU/UK or north american/canada is cooked starches like pasta, white rice, potatoes, fresh bread made with yeast/water/salt only because it's very similar to the composition of fruit. Cooked food softens and retains water, just like fruit, we are just trying to make fruit. But it's the next best thing because it is still plant food so higher in nutrition and still zero cholestrol. If you can't make a meal out of it then it's not human food. You can't make a meal everyday 3000 calories out of garlic, onions etc nor lettuce heads which would require 50 a day. Even oats/pasta/rice is boring without added salt/sugar/spices. Our food should excite us without adding other things to it, it should taste amazing all by itself and we should be able to make a meal out of it, that's all possible with fruit. There's so much confusion and debate about which foods are healthy and which aren't because everyone is looking in the wrong place distracted by the invention of fire which allowed us to eat foods we shouldn't be whilst the answer is right in our faces, fruit.

    Right meat is bad for you... What is your opinion on cow milk kefir because I feel great on it

    • @HenchHerbivore
      @HenchHerbivore 4 дні тому

      Great question! Nutritionally speaking, milk is basically liquid meat. It’s has the same harmful saturated fat and cholesterol. Additionally, it has harmful free sugars (sugars not bound to fibre) in the form of lactose. Free sugars raise the risk for multiple diseases including Alzheimer’s, which is now the UK’s leading cause of death. The only reasons that dairy milk can be used to make kefir is that the cow ate plants. The same resistant starch can be sourced from plant milks, with none of the negatives.

    Why you havent posted in a while? I realized that if you boil (atleast) whole psyllium seeds you get this gelatin/egg whites like gel which could possibly be used in baking. I dont bake myself so please if some of you would try it and spread the word? I guesstimate that different boiling time and water to seed ratio will affect in the gel structure. This realization happened today. That really is quite astounding how that gel is similar to part of chickens periods and skin & cartilage stuff. Do you know any (vegan) baking channels. Could be good to spread to every baking channel.

    How many animals do You think die when you plow Fields? I'm going to say millions in big industrial size farms. Cuz in my tiny little hobby farm is careful as I am. We still kill animals. But of course they don't matter right? Only the ones you care about. Edit also, if you're not eating animal products because you want to be kind, unless you're growing everything yourself, you're not being kind. In fact, it's incredibly hypocriteical what you preach here. Is somebody who Who actually grows absolutely everything I eat. I can guarantee you if you're going to the grocery store or A farmers market. You're responsible for the death of millions of animals. Also, let's not talk about two of the most destructive crops in the world almonds and soy. And if you're American or Canadian avocados. But let's just forget all that that's not convenient to our argument.

    • @HenchHerbivore
      @HenchHerbivore 4 дні тому

      From my understanding it’s a tiny amount per million calories, unless you’ve newer, better data to prove otherwise? Either way, it’s gotta be a minuscule fraction compared to those eaten by the 80,000,000,000 farmed animals that are stabbed in the neck each year to just end up on the plates of carnists. Not to mention that 2,700,000,000,000 sea creatures per year that are ripped out of the sea to painfully suffocate to death on your behalf’s. It’s impossible to cause ZERO harm. No-one’s denying that. But at least we’re fucking trying! Rather than try find to find fault in others, how about you don’t MAXIMISE the amount of suffering that you cause? Thanks for commenting.

    • @jmc4975
      @jmc4975 3 дні тому

      I think the irony in your argument is that more non-vegans eat more avocadoes and soy than vegans, because there are simply so many more non-vegans, so a marginal increase in plant-based calorie consumption for a person after switching to veganism has a tiny increase in plant consumption when compared to the animals that are forcefully bred (r4ped), stolen from their parents, fed soy (over 70% fed to livestock) or grass grown in unoccupied (by animals) fields (which could be used to grow a large variety of plants), raised for usually for up to 5 years (being generous) and then brutally murdered for human consumption. Those animals live off plants, we would actually be ok with growing less food overall if we stopped farming animals. While you raise good points in your argument, we don't live in a world where your points are logical or possible, you're not arguing against veganism, you're arguing against facts and logic. But nice try, here's a gold star 🌟

      LLandS18 is right tho. Obviously, when an intelligent animal, who is fully aware of their surroundings, notices that a big and fucking loud machine is moving towards them, they will just stay there to die. They clearly have no survival instincts at all. Oh wait... For those who might not have gotten the sarcasm: it was sarcasm. Animals flee when they are about to be overrun. Crazy concept. By the way, even if we assume that growing plants is just as unethical and violent as raising livestock because of crop deaths (which is ridiculous, but let's pretend, for the sake of the argument): plant agriculture has the potential to not be violent (vertical, indoor, veganic, bio-and ecological farming, and God knows what else. In a vegan world, more attention would be paid to not harm animals in the process; that's not the case in the fucked up carnist world that we live in). On the other hand, animal agriculture is by definition cruel. PS I've just recently discovered your channel, Hench; through a comment under a Coach Carnivore Cam video ( I enjoy watching cringe content for some reason). Instant subscribe!

      @@HummusAddict-sq3ld yeah I mean nobody ever gets hit by a car. I mean ever since the invention of cars in America zero people have ever been hit by one. You're so right. Tell me sweetheart, how many Fields have you plowed. How many fruits and vegetables do you grow. Probably none or you have a sweet little backyard garden. You think that makes you an expert in farming. But that's right. You keep thinking you have the moral high ground. Never take into account that some people can't afford to be vegan or some people live in a region where vegan food is not available. Or some people have medical conditions where they can't be being. But just remember you're better than all those people. It must be amazing to be so detached from how food Is grown and brought to your table.

    • @jmc4975
      @jmc4975 3 дні тому

      @LLandS18 Your retort is pointless, because most of the animals flee, how easy it is to hit a fly? You have to slow down, and plan your next moves just nearly miss it, unlike harvesting equipment, where most humans are able to get out of the way of the car so the numbers of those who get hit by cars and those who manage to get out of the way are also stablished against of your argument. If there are 100 people just chilling in the road while a steam roller is coming at them at 15mph do you think they're just going to sit there and let themselves get crushed? TL;DR, your point is moot because the numbers are against you, even in your hypothetical pedestrian-car collision.
